DVD Talk review of 'Alien Apocalypse'

... even in panning this movie, he gives it too much credit. I agree that Campbell plays it toungue in cheek, as always, but failed to see anything truly funny about the movie or his performance. There were some potentially amusing premises (e.g., Dr. Campbell is a chiropractor, not a surgeon or GP), but they were taken absolutely nowhere.
I watched the movie waiting for it to become silly and campy or even marginally interesting. I'm still waiting. All in all, I'm considering suing to get my two hours back, time which would have been better spent in such important pursuits as being beaten up, or watching my lightbulbs to make sure they don't burn out.
