Cry_Wolf worth a blind buy?

Just wondering if 'Cry_Wolf' is worth a blind buy.

I kinda like this style of movie from time to time and it's been a while since I've seen a good slasher style flick.

It's probably better to not have the link be the signature. Do this:
HTML Code:
[url="http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=dvdmagic"]My DVDAF Collection[/url]
That'll look better. It will look like this: My DVDAF Collection

instead of like this: http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.ht...=1&id=dvdmagic

(Sorry, have not seen Cry Wolf).

It really isnt worth the blind buy. Cry_Wolf is somewhat of an interesting concept but it was executed mediocre and forgettable. I dont know anything about the special features or anything but the movie itself isnt that great.

I wouldn't recommend blind buying it. I saw it in the theaters and even though it wasn't that bad, I doubt I'll watch it ever again. I only put it in my Netflix queue so I could see the filmmaker's short films that are included in the extras. Rent it first.

I haven't seen it yet but if they try to charge $19.99 for it then I'll pass but if it's $13.99 or $14.99 I may check it out. Last good horror flick I've seen was High Tension so I'm over due for a good horror flick

It's not worth a blind buy of my $10 - $20. I don't know about yours, though.

Yeah, I watched the movie the other day and completely agree. Cry_Wolf isn't bad, but it's disposable and pretty much indistinguishable from a couple hundred other movies. The "unrated" cut could probably squeak by with a PG-13 (at worst, it's an extremely soft R), for what that's worth. I don't think I'd even recommend it as a rental until you can pick it up for a buck or two.

The extras are great, though, so if you-in-the-general-sense liked the movie, you'll be impressed with the DVD.

I wrote a review, if anyone's that bored, but what I just said covers it a lot more tersely.

I watched the unrated version last night and was thoroughly bored. Although it ties up everything nicely at the end, the majority of the movie is simply mundane slasher fare with mostly annoying characters. The entire whole is rather forgettable and pretty putrid overall.

(I enjoyed your review, Adam Tyner. Since the flick has been reviewed by mainstream critics, I chose not to bother reviewing it myself. I would give it a D- if I were to bother.)

The problem is, it's not a
Spoiler:
horror film, really. Once the twist is revealed, you realize why there isn't much violence in the movie.

It's basically a re-hash of "April Fools Day". Seriously. The similarities are uncanny. This, at best, as a renter, and a prime example of the "Uncut" moniker being abused for nothing more than monetary gain, because the content was still PG-13, just like it was in the theatre.
