DVD Talk review of 'Fangoria Blood Drive II'
I read Bill Gibron's DVD review of Fangoria Blood Drive II at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=18194 and...
I completely disagree with your thoughts on Disposer. After viewing this clearly disturbing piece I immediatly took it took school on my laptop and proceeded to show as many people as possible this shocking 7 min display of awe. The fact that Furtney lingers on the "hand in disposer" scene only amplified the already stunned faces who viewed it. As the film takes you into what clearly is an uncomfortable subject of sexual banter for some people, you find yourself getting those warm and fuzzy feelings and looking around to see if anyone notices. Only to be shocked into its "climax" by switching your warm and fuzzy feelings for... hmmmmm... a "What the F***" kind of feeling, which is clearly our male in this film is feeling as well. Uncomfortable, is the point of the film. I have to say that all those that did view disposer via moi, had the same response of " I need to borrow that, seriously." I think you love or hate disposer but either way it moves you to write bad reviews or angry blogs about it. Which means it made you feel SOMETHING. I think that is the mark of a great writer and film maker.
