DVD Talk review of 'Beautiful Boxer'
I read Carl Davis's DVD review of Beautiful Boxer at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17796 and...
I had a question/comment regarding the Audio options. Carl mentioned Cantonese and Mandarin but this cannot be correct as it is a Thai movie and I would hope that Thai was the audio option (at least one of). Even the 2 disc HK release has Thai as one of the language options. I hope this is just an error on the reviewers part rather than a total blunder from TLA who seem to be a hit or miss from release to release. Carl or anyone out there can confirm this?

The TLA Video site says the movie is in Thai.

Maybe Mr. Davis was a bit distracted when he wrote the audio portion.
Either that or the guy that wrote the TLA video site was distracted when he wrote the blurb.

Carl here... wow, that was a major goof on my part. I was writing this review in conjunction with the one for Kung Fu Mahjong and somehow carried over the copy.
I've since updated the review and here's how the audio portion now reads: "There is just a single Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track of mixed Thai and English which sounded good. There are portions of the film which are in English, such as scenes featuring Jack the reporter, as well as much of the film's narration."
I hope that clears everything up. Thanks for the interest in the review, it was certainly a unique and worthwhile movie experience.

Thanks for the update Carl and the rest. I was just worried that TLA might have fumbled another release since their releases tend to be hit and miss depending who they get their stuff from.
