DVD Talk review of 'McCloud - Seasons 1 and 2'
I read Don Houston's DVD review of McCloud - Seasons 1 and 2 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17289 and...
I used to watch that show all the time and liked it a lot. The only thing that gave me pause was when he'd gallop a horse on the city streets.... having owned a horse and knowing the importance of keeping the horse "shod", I can vouch for the effect of iron horseshoes on cement roadways.... it's darn easy for the horse to slip and fall and kill you both. I guess those Hollywood horses are more careful or maybe the ones he rode weren't shod. Half of me would cringe in horror and the other half would love the unique aspect of a, at the time, brand new type of drama. He always made his acting seem like he wasn't. I've always admired that aspect of the craft from any number of talent show folk.
