DVD Talk review of 'Sleepover'
I read Carl Davis's DVD review of Sleepover at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17050 and...
you said, "I was sure it would be the dark teen comedy Sleepover (2004) starring the rapidly developing Alex Vega of Spy Kids fame."
Does that mean you thought the Vega Sleepover was decent? The other reviews here for that title didn't seem to like it nor really think it was dark. Did they just miss the point - something like how being bright and pink is the ultimate expression of goth culture?

Jah, I saw this movie recently and did not think it was "dark" at all. It is definitely a "teeny bopper" movie though. It was cute, but as with most teenage movies, the plot was predictable. hope that helps.
