La Femme Nikita seasons 1 & 2: good blind buys?
I'm tempted to go ahead and take a chance on seasons 1 & 2 while the current DDD 20% sale is going on.
I like Alias, so I'm assuming I'll probably like this. I've heard good things about this show & dvd set, but I've only seen half of one episode from season 4 or 5, which I enjoyed. I remember the image looking very soft (white filters) and am wondering about the video quality of season's 1 and 2. Are they soft as well?
Good blind buy? yes/no?

La Femme Nikita is darker than Alias. I actually like La Femme Nikita better than Alias. It is hard to recomend a blind buy on the series since it is soooo expensive. It looks like season one just went down in price, so this is probably the best time to try it.

La Femme Nikita Season 1 is listed as a June 28, 2005 pre-order at DDD and amazon.com. I understand DDD doing this due to a price drop, but not amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd
Is there something different about this Jun 28th version?
BTW, here's a $10-50 rebate PDF for anyone who buys these sets or some other WB sets:
http://images.amazon.com/media/i3d/01/wbtvpdf2.pdf
It's valid between Jan 1, 2005 and Jun 30, 2006.
