Lawrence of Arabia Superbit vs. Special Edition
I was wondering which edition most prefer. I can either spend CH funcash on the 2 disc special edition, or order the superbit edition as part of a CH enrollment. Which would you choose?

I love the extras on the Special Edition, but in the final equation, it's all about the film itself and the image and audio on the Superbit blow the Special Edition out of the water in a major way. If you insist on only getting one, go with the Superbit.

Filmmaker is 100% correct... But most will tell you that, if you're a big fan, you'll want both. But if you can only have one, go with the Superbit. The only negative about the Superbit is the disc change point IIRC... Could have (should have?) been handled better.

Edited to add... I picked your Superbit for enrollment poll choice. But, personally speaking, I'd do both if you have the funcash to spare. Is this a blind buy or have you seen (and enjoy) Lawrence?

Seen and enjoyed Lawrence. I can always save that funcash and get the special edition next redemption period, as well. The poll has been helpful, thanks.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the LE's transfer-- nothing worth saying that the Superbit version is leagues better when in fact the differences are very subtle and probably not even noticable to the average viewer.
