DVD Talk review of 'Easter Parade'

I read DVD Savant's DVD review of Easter Parade at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=14940 and...

WHY is Peter Lawford so maligned? How can Glenn say he has no personality? I think he's charming enough, and the "Fella With An Umbrella" song is far, FAR from awful IMO...if you want awful, try Tony Martin's immortal "Tenement Symphony" from THE BIG STORE...

EASTER PARADE is pretty much the perfect musical. A plot that's neither too deep nor too lightweight, crisp dialogue, expertly performed by two of the greatest entertainers in the business, and nighh every song is a winner.
