DVD Talk review of 'Get Shorty: Special Edition'

I read Aaron Beierle's DVD review of Get Shorty: Special Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=14396 and...just wondering Aaron...how is the site "Current Film" related to DVD Talk? They post the same reviews there, yours in particular for this one.

I'm sure Aaron might be able to step in with a more detailed explanation, but Current Film is basically his personal website (maintained by Aaron, with additional contributions by Mark McLeod). Among other things, CF includes all the stuff he's written for DVD Talk, so I guess it's a "sister site" of sorts.

I get this question quite a bit, so:

I started reviewing DVDs about 6 years ago online, and got the domain currentfilm.com a little over 5 years ago. I started working with DVD Talk shortly after, and was one of the first reviewers. However, I do enjoy running my own website, and continue to do so. I review DVDs for both my own site and DVD Talk. The reviews I do for DVD Talk appear both on my site and DVD Talk. The reviews I do for my own site appear on my site and then, sometime soon after, are shared with DVD Talk.

That would usually belong in Movie Talk. This is for discussing the reviews of the disc(s), or ask for someone to give a recommendation or leaving your own personal review.

Why are you such a stickler for what you think should happen around here? You seem obsessed with people who you think "threadcrap," people who don't post what they should or what they shouldn't, etc. Why not just respond if you want to, but please stop calling people on what you think is right and wrong around here. That is what we have mods for; if you think someone is way out of line, then report their post. Don't make your own post about it just to point it out and whine. Just go with the flow. You are stepping on a lot of toes around here, and pissing a lot of members off.

BTW, the posts above you was a derailment, and isn't against any rules, so just relax.
