"Wonderfalls" and "Carnivale" - blind buys?

my personal pet peeve about the wonderfalls set is the "previously on wonderfalls" episode openers. I understand that they're there to explain the relationships and everything, but that really only makes sense if you're watching the show on TV for the first time, and you missed a bunch of episodes. I have to assume that that means all of the episodes were completed (including the opening recaps) before they got cancelled, but I think those openers should have been cut out of the DVD set.
Aside from that, I really enjoyed the show. There were a couple small things that bothered me, but those would be considered "spoilers", so I won't talk about it.
But, on the topic of Spoilers, make sure you DON'T read the episode synopses that are printed on the cases of the set. They don't go into extreme detail, but glancing at the last episode's synopsis will basically ruin the surprise of the five or six episodes before it.

The Shield Season 3, which I am working on re-watching now, did it really well. The menu for each show gives you the option to watch each episode with or without the recap. The recaps were helpful when the show was on once a week but when I'm re-watching an entire season in a few days I have no need to reminded of something I watched 3 hours ago. I may watch too many movies and DVDs but my brain hasn't rotted away that much.

I bought Wonderfalls as a blind buy. PMed it at Circuit City from the Target ad. Sounds like something I'd enjoy, but it's still sealed just in case I decide to sell it later on as I rarely have time to just watch DVDs at the moment.

I also picked this up when Target had it on sale last week. I've watched the first disc, and I really enjoy it. It has that quirky Dead Like Me feel, but totally different.
