With his passing, I am kind of thinking of getting this set. He was just a bit before my time and I don't have too many recollections, but I did always think he was the best host in late night and so much more.

So anyone have this set and can attest to its' greatness as a set? as a show compilation? etc...

It's over seven hours (I believe) of Johnny Carson goodness. You know good and well what you'll be getting when you buy this, and you SHOULD buy it.

the last 2 episodes are there, i was wondering if they are in Sterro sound? i have bits of them on tape and in stereo.

I have it and its pretty entertaining...I would recommend it.

I have enjoyed watching it.
