I know this hasn't been released yet but i'm looking for something to fulfill my CH account and i've heard nothing but praise for these movies. Thanks.

You can't go wrong. I can't afford the whole set, and am only opting for Angels With Dirty Faces. A solid set. Blind buy? All depends on your tastes.

i would also agree that it depends on taste. if you can find it at a low price, get the scarface gift set which has the 32 versions of scarface.

I'm totally blind buying. I haven't seen one, but besides Laura, White Heat is the only great noir I haven't seen. Plus, I love Bogie and want to see him in The Petrified Forest, and a couple of the others always seemed interesting. I blind bought the film noir box and loved it, so I already pre-ordered this one with STL.

I've loved every movie in this set since I was a wee lad...this is a Must Own for me. If you don't shed a few tears at the conclusion of Angels With Dirty Faces, you are not human.

Great movies. That being said, you still have to be interested in classic noirs/gangster films for this to be a good purchase for you.
