Anybody own Spiderman: The '67 Collection Cartoon
Does anyone own the Spiderman: The '67 Collection? How are the shows? I'm trying to figure out if this is the same cartoon I used to watch in the mornings in the mid to late 80's. Does anyone have any pictures they can post?

It rules in a cheesy way. If you didn't see them when you were a kid you probably wouldn't like them. However, I think you're thinking of the 80s Spiderman cartoon, which is totally different.

I love them, and am having a great time introducing them to my 3 year old. I seem to remember a DVD review here on the site. There is a lot of repitition, but I think animation was like that in the 60's. Just look at Fred Flintstone running in his house or yard. It's the same shot. I've got it on Netflix, which ideal, because it is ALOT of Spiderman to digest.

The first three discs are pretty good, I didn't like the later, half-hour episodes. They didn't really expand the stories, they just seemed to add in more web-swinging to pad out the episodes. And there was already too much web-swinging! And there was one episode that used the exact same animation as an earlier episode, but with different dialogue.
The video looks great, though.
