DVD Talk review of 'Watermelon Man'

Re: David Walker's DVD review of Watermelon Man at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=12260

WOW!! How did I miss this release? I wish I had reviewed it (altho you did a fine job). This is one of my all time favorite films. It's so brilliant. I only wish there was a full commentary track and some other content. I'm gonna go order it right now!

I caught most of this movie on AMC one night, and never saw it again. I'll definitely rent it to get the whole picture.

from the review...
the studio original wanted someone like Jack Lemmon or Alan Arkin to play the lead in blackface
God, I'd love to visit an alternate reality and see the Jack Lemmon version!
