DVD Talk review of 'Jersey Girl'

I just bought DVD yesterday and i saw the movie couple of times in theater thats how much i like this movie ..its sad,funny,romantic etc.. I havent seen Ben performing so gooood (Ben u are good but in this movie..wow)and Kevin Smith did a good job.

I definitely think there's a feeling among the LCD of Smith's fans that this movie was a move away from the films they love (the fart films).
Personally I think the general breakdown goes like this:
Clerks, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob
16-30 y/o
Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jersey Girl
30+
Dogma straddles the line, but the themes lean towards an older audience.

It was pretty good. Although I think it could've been a lot better, and maybe a litter more clever. I'd like to see how the director's cut turned out. I heard he cut a lot of footage. In the end, it seemed a little too generic, but overall it was still good.
