any reviews of alias season 3 (particularly the sound)

season 1, the dialogue was too soft and the action was way too loud, season 2, no lfe what so ever (with all the techno music, i would have assumed some at least. so how is the sound?

I'll play it out in the main room tomorrow night and let you know what I hear. The blooper reel is great though

definately looking for some reviews of this as well.

especially a picture of the set itself, since another member on the board mentioned in the Talk Forum that the packaging had been changed.

I haven't watched any episodes yet, but I think the packaging is much better. Now I wish I could have new packing for S1 and S2 as well

Does anyone else think its funny that no DVD sites (including DVDtalk) hasn't posted a review of this set?

i gave episode one a spin, the surrounds are a lot more active (go to the start of chapter 2 in the first episode for instance). the lfe was done up a notch as well, only thing is that there is brief distortion in voices when a character yells or more then one person is talking at the same time. another minor problem is that the gun shots are a bit compressed, and don't give you a brief jump like with more releases.

Buena Vista didn't send screeners. At least, I didn't get mine.
