Not really. The trailer peaked my interest when I saw it, but i was vastly underwhelmed by it. I love serial killer movies of all sorts, but this is strictly by the numbers. Wasted performances, over-the-top killings with little motivation for the brutality of it, and tons of false clues to throw you off from discovering the killer's identity (and for no reason people do stuff just to arouse suspition).

Yeah, its an okay film... if it was like $7-8 I would get it but not for $15+. Not that much replay value in it. It is a decent film, better than some other crap out there, but its nothing new to the thriller genre.

Only worth a blind buy if you extremely cliche, redundant, trite, drivel. This type of movie has been made over & over again, nothing new. But if that is your bag then it's worth a blind buy.

I had greater hopes for this flick when I saw it. They made nice use of Montreal as a backdrop city for part of the movie, but the ending left me.....wanting ??? It wasn't a horrible flick, but as others above noted, the plot is kinda straightforward, and the lacklustre ending really didnt leave me wanting to see it again.
I'd definitely rent it...it does not have the rewatchability of a good serial killer drama like "Kiss The Girls".

It's still not worth it. It's a boring, mediocre film across the board.

Even then you dont get much boobage or sex... if you want that then get Original Sin, you will see alot more Angelina in that then u will this film.
The only uncut stuff I could tell was when the killer was shown decapitating a person, slightly longer sex, and I think a few shots of the murders in photos she has around her place.

Not a good film, but not a complete disaster.
I suspect the script was an interesting read, there's lots of subversive touches in there you don't usually see in films. But somewhere along the way, the film got totally lost.
I think Angelina Jolie was completely miscast.
As the reviewer here said, it had a great opening, and it never recovered from there. One hour in, I was completely bored.

It's worth it if you like Jolie, I enjoyed it in theatres and on dvd. The unrated doesn't have much more sex at all, just a certain violent scene.

That's good to know since I planned to rent it from HW - so I can only get the rated version.

Mom&pop video store across the street from me carried the UR so I rented it. It was okay - the first 15 minutes and last 15 minutes were great.
