I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of The Girl Next Door (Unrated) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=11959 and...
Adam, thanks for the softcore shots of Elisha! Made me want to pick this one up!

Does the unrated version by any chance also include the theatrical version on the same disc, like American Wedding does?

No, they're two separate releases.

That sucks- it's been a really underused feature.

So, as someone who thinks Elisha Cuthbert is about as close to feminine perfection as is possible but would sooner chew his own leg off than suffer through this film, can someone tell me exactly what horn-dog eyes such as my own would be able to discern under that detestable "Unrated" banner on the cover of the new DVD?

Awwww...I cover that in the review linked above.
If you meant just the cover, it's the same tube-top thing from the posters.

In the deleted scenes, when I select 'more' on the right side, it just stays there, highlighted, and the music changes....there are more right? Anyone else have this problem?

Fortnately the mom&pop video store across the street from me carried UR versions of titles so I rented this Friday night. I enjoyed it - there are some really good lines in it. I'll probably buy it at some point down the road.

I have to say this was a very good movie. I wasn't expecting much going into this. I rented the UR version so I am not sure what was added from theatrical cut. If I were to blindbuy this, I would not have had one regret.
Don't be fooled by everyone saying its a teen movie. I felt it had more going for it than that. Elisha Cutbert is definitely a hottie. Man, what great eye candy.

I really liked this one too, and I didn't have much hope for it. Not only is it very funny, it actually has pretty good plot. All of the actors were perfect in their parts. Even Ms. Bauer which is the weak link on 24 in my opinion was perfect for the part. This would have been a great blind buy.
