Which version of Versus would You recommend?
I don't order online so thats out of the question, im leaning toward the regular Unrated Version, because the only place that i know carries it is Fry's Electronics and they only sell the Special Edition for 29.99.
Is this movie good though is it like the matrix? with Zombies.Would i be missing anything special if i didn't buy the special edition
thanks in advance

If I was going to associate Versus with another movie it wouldn't be the Matrix, perhaps more towards Evil Dead, if for campiness alone. I'd personally recommend watching the film before buying it as I liked it a lot but some of my friends didn't....I know Blockbuster has the R rated version so it'd be a safe way of checking the quality of the film prior to worrying about how much you'd like to invest towards the special features around it.

It's nothing like the Matrix, except it occurs in the future. Like mentioned above, it's more akin to the Evil Dead series. Bunch of people in the woods surrounded by zombies. Chop/shoot/fumble your way out or die. It's got a few nice fight scenes, some cool characters, some good gore shots, some annoying characters, and a whole lot of filler between the fights. I'd only recommend this to you if you are a gore or zombie hound. Might as well get the unrated since the purpose of this was movie was gore.

I agree with the above posters.
Only get the movie if you are a fan of gore, or zombies, hell even both.
If you've never seen the movie, rent it first, or get the directors cut 1 disc, I think it's 14.99 at Best Buy.

Definitely rent it first. Movie is pretty dumb. The "Director's Cut" just drags on and on forever. I'm inclined to think that the shorter version is probably better.
