Hangman's Cure (Frank peretti)

Hangman's Curse is a book written by Frank Peretti, and now, it's on the big screen! The DVD of the film came out yesterday, March 30th....and it's totally awesome, with some never-before-seen featurettes and more. I like that.

Does anybody is looking for Hangman's Curse DVD? Or have seen this film before?

I think Hangman's Curse is good for those who enjoy scary movies but have more conservative tastes. ..

Ah, here's little bio about Hangman's Curse...

"Within the shadowed corridors of Rogers High School, something terrible has been unleashed. As fear escalates, a family of investigators goes undercover only to discover you cannot destroy what you cannot find. As students are claimed by a deadly power, Nate and Sarah Springfield (David Keith and Mel Harris) and their two teenage children race to protect the student body from the mysterious forces around them…and from their own prejudices. It didn't do much for me, personally. It had a couple of moments early on, but Peretti's message is a little skewe, imo.

Plus, Peretti should NEVER EVER act again, if you ask me.

Here's my review , if you're bored.......

You know, when I wrote the review for DVD Talk I had no idea Peretti was a popular Christian author and former minister. Not that it made any difference with my feelings about the film -- it was pretty mediocre but it meant well, **1/2 out of ***** -- but what's interesting to me is that I didn't detect any "conservative" or "Christian" slant to the movie, other than a prayer at the end and a girl in peril singing "Jesus loves me" to herself while in shock and fear.

And Peretti couldn't act his way out of a urinary tract, but he seems like a kooky fun guy.
