DVD Talk review of 'Grind (2003)'
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Grind (2003) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=9262 and...
I actually liked the movie. While some parts (kid vomitting) could have been left out, it was a good movie to watch. Not for the compelling script or plot, but obvisously it was made to entertain and it did that... sure it was stupid but it was also fun... what else do you except in a skateboarding movie?

This movie epitomizes all the things that skateboarding has become that I hate. What a lame exploitation of a sport that has been dear to me for 15 years.
You can take the above comments with a grain of salt, though, as I still love wathcing "Thrashin" and "Gleaming the Cube" for the cheese factor.
