Gilligan's Island review links

I'm not affiliated in any way with the below reviewers or
Web sites, I'm just a fan of Gilligan's Island and I've been
digging around for some reviews on the release this Tuesday
for Giligan's Island the Complete First Season:

From Herb Kane, a HTF DVD Reviewer-

...this set looks much better than I anticipated...

...My only true complaint regarding the audio track
was during the accompanying laugh track which I
felt was mixed too aggressively at times...

Herb Kane Review link:

From Gord Lacey, a TVSHOWSONDVD Reviewer-

...It looks a lot better than some of the other "classic" shows
I've seen lately. ...

I'm looking forward to this on Tuesday. This is my most wanted TV show on DVD.

DavidH and anyone else- have you checked it out yet? I
have played a little bit from all three discs and it looks
GREAT! The opening credits look decent enough but once
past that part the shows I checked out really looked fantastic!

My only complaint is it was hard as heck for me to get the discs
to pop out of their wells, especially the very first disc. I had to
pull and tug way too hard on the first disc to get it out...

Keith,

I watched the pilot, and episodes I and II. Yes, I am very impressed. I look very forward to the next 32 episodes.

I agree it was very hard getting the disc out. But, I do have to say, I was impressed with the rest of the packaging -- very cool looking.

I really hope this sells well so we can get the next two seasons.

And I hope the high quality of the B/W shows means the color
shows will look just as great! If the pricing holds up, we
should be able to get all three seasons for less than $100
with discounts. I hope it gets on the fast track and the other
two seasons get released this year!

Continuing with some new review links:

"...However, what is surprising is the quality of the picture. It's
damn good!"
Mark Keizer review

"...Gilligan's Island looks darn near flawless, with its highly
detailed image and solid blacks throughout..."
Stuart Galbraith IV review

"...While there are a few minor defects here and there,
the image quality is surprisingly good."
Jeff Ulmer review

Ok, here is the DVD-Basen link for the links to all
these reviews:
