Pink Floyd "Live in Pompeii" dvd

If you’re a Floyd fan, then you know that the best way to experience their music is with both audio and visual. That’s why their new dvd, “Live in Pompeii” is a must have. If you already own and love the video version like I do, you’ll be blown away by the dvd. It has both the original version and a new director’s cut as well. The director’s cut has footage from the band’s recording of Dark Side, and some great interviews with the guys. This is definitely a must have for anyones Floyd collection.

Both DVD's are amazing, I prefer In the Flesh because it has better video, audio on both DVD's is excellent. Live in Berlin also has a interesting documentary about creating and organizing the event which is pretty interesting, I have VHS, but the DVD is definitely worth just for the documentary. I would recommend that you get both, I don't think you'll regret it.

I had THE PULSE concert on laserdisc, so having never seen LIVE AT POMPEII, I went out and bought it.
I didn't like it.
I watched it once and don't care to ever see it again.
Would sell my copy.

ReservoirDog,

The band for In The Flesh is very very good, and again the sound amazing, I recognized Snowy white from Thin Lizzy on guitar, and also Andy Fairweather Low who plays with Eric Clapton.
