DVD Talk review of 'Soap - The Complete First Season'

I read Shannon Nutt's DVD review of Soap - The Complete First Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=7656 and...

I must agree that the video quality just isn't what was expected, but you really need to understand just how bad technology for recording was back then. It sure wasn't anything like we have today!

Audio was a little lacking, but again it doesn't really detract from the viewing of this great box set.

As for features... Who needs them? Just having the episodes on DVD is enough for most fans. Sure, interviews with the cast and crew and all that is nice, but how many people really bother to watch that stuff?

Overall I would say this is a "Buy It" for any true fan of the show! It sure is a bargain at $25!

Now if they would just put "MacGyver" on DVD...
