Is "Naked Lunch" Criterion worth it?

I got it and I'm not familiar with it so I was wondering if I should keep it.

Anyone seen the movie or have this disc? What type of flick is it? I'm not sure if I wanna keep it or try and trade it for "Le Cercle Rouge"

Thanks

This should be in the Dvd reviews and recommendations forum.

I guess the question is why did you get it in the first place?

Personally, I like what David Cronenberg makes, but that is me. I think that the film has some value to me. My wife disliked it a lot, but she liked Spider and Dead Ringers.

Sidenote: I thought Le Cercle Rouge was much better than the Naked Lunch.

Thanks DVD Smurf I have the Dead Ringers disc, and while I liked it I only watched it once. I'm thinking I'll switch it for Le C when I see it.

Thanks!

I'd keep it. Its my favorite Cronenberg film and enjoyed it miles more than the similiar Fear & Loathing.

Drat!!

I liked Fear and Lothing! Now I don't know what to do... maybe I'll just keep it after all and just pick Le C when I see it on sale.

And if you're wondering why I have these, I just bought it today along with La Strada and Knife in the Water as part of a B2G1. I wanted Le C, but they didn't have it so I figured I'd get Naked as a place holder, but now I'm not so sure.

Oh sorry, the B2G1 deal is in this weeks TRU ad.

I just went over to BB and PM'ed it. BB had them for 33 each. I had gone in wanting La Strada and Knife in the Water and Le Cercle Rouge-- BB only carries a few of the newest titles so I didn't even bother looking for any of the older titles-- but when they didn't have Le C I picked up Naked as a placeholder, then I started to wonder if I shouldn't just keep Naked and pick up Le C when I see it. I mean on one hand Naked was a blind buy so I should change it then on the other hand it's a Cronenberg and the odds aren't good that BB will ever get Le C again.

Augghh! What to do?!!
