DVD Talk review of 'Henry Fool'
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Henry Fool at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=8550 and...
I don't agree with the reviewer's description of the character of Fay(Parker Posey) in the movie. She is simply a young and pretty woman who is trapped as the stay at home care giver to a mentally ill mother and an emotionally withdrawn brother. There is really no love or romance or anything else in her life at the start of the movie, just this one reality for her. Hence she takes sex and whatever tenderness she can get from the men in her neighborhood. Henry Fool's arrival gradually leads to major changes in her life, eventually giving her love, marriage and a child.
