From what I've read, this edition is going to be amazing. I can't wait to pick up the box set.

My set finally showed up from Amazon on Friday so I pored over Yankee Doodle Dandy and Treasure of Sierra Madre this weekend. I had actually never seen either film before (shamefull look on face) and bought the set mostly for Adventures of Robin Hood and because I knew that both of the other films were highly regarded. I loved both of the films!

Warner has done it again. These DVD editions are fantastic! I honestly can't see the picture quality getting much better than it is. I don't have a good sound system yet so I can't comment on that aspect. There is so much good supplemental material that it will take you hours to get through it all. I especially like the whole "Night at the Movies" concept where they show you a trailer, newsreel and a cartoon before the main feature. The documentaries on YDD and TSM are very in depth and informative. I still need to finish the John Huston one. I haven't had a chance to get into Adventures of Robin Hood yet or the Here's Looking at You disk, but I expect more of the same quality.

I highly recommend this set for those that are on the fence.
