My thoughts on Blood Works

Hi there,

I just saw this last night and found the movie quite entertaining since I heard all the bad reviews for it. I had no expectations going in and was quite surprised.

I thought the story was good. Clint Eastwood was good as usual in his role as a FBI profiler. I kind of supected who the killer was from the reviews but that did not take away from the over plot of the movie.

Your thoughts

I thought it was decent. Toward the end of the movie, I was waiting for the plot twists that never came. I'd say it was an entertaining movie but has very little replay value.

I thought it was pretty good, though I could've done without the love scene which seemed totally unnecessary.

I half-assed watched it on HBO last night.

I had the "killer" pegged the moment I saw him/her.

It was a competent thriller. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm a huge Eastwood fan, but I thought this one was both slow and predictable.

Not terrible (I wasn't bored), but too many cliches along the way. (I'm really getting tired of the "dumb detective team at odds with our hero" that seems to move effortlessly from movie to movie.)

I hate to say it but Clint is WAY too old to play this kinda part.

The movie doesn't even come close to doing Michael Connelly's novel justice. And Clint was too old for the part...the character in the book is in his 40s I believe...Clint still does a pretty good job.

Read the book.

Pretty solid all around thriller but anyone who's seen movies for longer than a month should have pegged the killer in about 5 minutes, making it a little predictable but the performances were good, especially the female ones but Rodriguez got a little grating .
