I've heard that Versus is a pretty good movie and I was wondering if there were any reviews or recommendations for buying this movie.

I like matrix / equilibrium type action movies and I've also watched the evil dead / dead evil stuff before so I was wondering if this was a decent blind buy?

I think it's a terrific blind buy for anyone with a strong stomach who enjoys Evil Dead or hong kong action flicks. It's a gory, violent ride and the pacing is fast. I'd recommend the unrated version because I have a feeling the R version is chopped up.

I'm interested in this movie too, having seen it mentioned in the bargains forum. Any more reviews of the film? And is it worth waiting for the special edition of the movie?

The version that came out this week (7/29) is a Directors Cut and it is indeed unrated according to amazon.com. Is this a suitable version to pick up?

I'm also curious to when this "special edition" is coming out and if I should wait for that one.

The SE edition of this is supposely coming 8/19 according to DDD site.
