Pinocchio - Dubbed or Subtitled?
I've been dying to see Roberto Benigni's Pinoccio ever since I oringally heard about it almost a year ago. I don't think that its going to actually be good, in fact, I think that it will be so god-awful that it will be hillarious (unintentionally hillarious, that is).
I've heard that only the dubbed version was released in theater in the US and that was one of the things that made it so bad. In fact, Entertainment weekly gave the subtitled version a D+, but they gave the engish dubbed version an F
So here is my delima: If the dubbed version makes the movie even worse, does it make the movie even more unintentionally funny than it already is. Or, what if Benigni's performance is part of what makes it so funny (unintensionally), I dont want to miss out on that by watching the dubbed version instead of hearing the original dialogue.
what do you guys think?

sorry, I guess I didnt make it clear....
Im aware that both versions are on the DVD, I just can't decide which one to watch. I could watch them both, but I doubt that Im going to want to sit though this movie twice.

The review at CHUD compares both versions.

Thanks, that was very helpful. I was suprised to see that the reviewer on that site actually found some redeeming value in this movie. Im still interested to know what the opinion is of someone that thought this movie was horrible and unintentionally funny.
