Oh man I can't wait for this

Sorry, have to remove this. As best I can tell, you're not the author of this review; a DVD File reviewer wrote it.

From our forum FAQ (note, the FAQ is the top sticky post in this forum):

"Links to reviews on sites you aren't affiliated with:
Feel free to provide all the links to external reviews you want as long as you aren't affiliated with the site. Do not, however, cut and paste the entire review into our forum. These folks put a good bit of work into their reviews, they deserve the click throughs."

To be helpful - link to the review. Thanks for your future cooperation.

Sounds like another winner from New Line! I really enjoyed this and the extras seem to actually be something I'd like to check out for once! Can't wait!

Hey...any opinions out there in reference to Final Destination I versus Final Destination II? #1 better than #2 or about the same. Sounds like there is more gore in the 2nd film than the 1st. Any other opinions?? You know how sequels are and I have yet to hear any reviews on the movie itself.

Thanks

I do not like gore. So thanks for saving me from renting this one.

If you don't like gore, DEFINITELY stay away from this one. This one was pushing the R-rating to the limits.

As far as comparing the I to II, I was definitely no slouch in the gore factor either, but II ramps it up quite a bit. Story & cast were definitely better in the first (and who will ever forget the bus scene???) so I would give the edge to the original. However, II will fit in very nicely if you enjoyed the first.

The first Final Destination is darker and has a lot more hidden symbols and hints. Final Destination 2 has a kind of lighter comedic tone to it and is much gorier. It also has a few more twists than the first. As far as sequels go, I thought that it was well-done, and I liked it about the same as the original.

Since you're not really talking features, I'm inclined to move this to Movie Talk Forum, but I'll leave it here for another day or so to see where the discussion goes.
