Prime Suspect series & Cracker DVD
Hello All,
just received these R2 sets and thought I'd give a heads up for anyone contemplating purchasing them.
Both Prime Suspect and Cracker are presented in a 4:3 (full frame) format. The transfers look no better than when they debuted on PBS. Which in my case is fairly decent. They are in no way sparkling crystal clear transfers like say-Star Trek Nemesis but they are easy on the eyes. Both transfers looks a little soft in places but overall, they look good.
The audio on both series is DD2.0. Both series are dialogue heavy so this platform is more than sufficient.
There are no subtitles and no extras of any kind on either series.
The cases are fold out boxes much like the ST:NG cases and fit in sleeves featuring the profile of Helen Mirren(Prime Suspect) and the dead-on smirk of Robbie Coltrane(Cracker) .
These are both incredibley well done British detective series and the presentations are easily watchable.
