Review Needed: Gerry Anderson's Stingray & Scarlet??
Hi, i'm in a heavy mood for Anderson's freaky dolls...
Thunderbirds mega set is a bless from above... pictures & sound are magnificent (could be better though).
so, how about Stingray & captain Scarlet?
are they sound (5.1?) & look better, if not the same, as Thunderbirds?
thank you in advance
i'm thinking getting those 2 from UK (PAL) cause they got better box set... but i prefer getting US NTSC system if the sound & picture quality the same (or better)

Captain Scarlet
The US version is incredible.. crisp video, and the 5.1 is very effective.
HOWEVER, if I had to do it over again, I would get the R2 version - it has a 5th disc chock full of supplements not available on the US version..
Can't compare the video/audio quality between the two, but typically the R2 Charlton DVDs tend to be a little better then the US version.
Amazon,uk is selling this at $42 this week... better hurry...
