Ice Age impressions
Hi all,
I tried searching on this topic but I get the message saying the words are too short.
This was a blind purchase and there are no regrets here. This is a very good and funny movie. It had me cracking up a few times.
I would definitely recommend this. Its not for kids only.
How about your thoughts.
btw, my edition that I ordered online from CC did NOT come with the Papa John Sticker.

I had low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised at how truly funny and enjoyable this film is.
The 2-disc set is an easy recommendation - plus it includes the wonderful Bunny short.

Just rented and watched it yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. Though the Pixar movies are more accomplished, Ice Age seemed to hark back to the old Warner Bros. Looney Tunes era (Roadrunner, Bugs & Daffy) with its slapstick set pieces, broad humor, and double entendres.

I really liked it. far better than the recent disney movies like lilo and stitch and a notch below Monsters, Inc.
I would give it a try and see if you like it. everyone I told to see it so far has liked the movie.

I liked it way better than Monsters INC.
Billy Crystal and John Goodman are so overplayed I can't stand it.
Leguzamo was hi-larious as were the Dodo scenes and scritch (or whatever).
I put Ice Age on par with Shrek.

I really enjoyed Ice Age. I still enjoyed Monsters Inc. (Steve Buscemi especially) and the 2 Toy Stories better, but Ice Age is hands down better than Lilo and Stich. I can't stand John Leguzamo, but even that didn't bother me. Maybe because I didn't have to look at him???
