NINE QUEENS: A winner!

Hey there. I just reviewed a surprisingly great little crime thriller called NINE QUEENS. It's an intricate movie from Argentina that's easily in the realm of THE STING and THE USUAL SUSPECTS. I wanted to give it special mention here, because it's likely to be overlooked. Here's my review. Enjoy!

Saw this at the theatre -- pretty good! Definitely kept me thinking.

Thanks for the info. - I just picked it up at Borders last night based on your recommendation. Sounds like a cool flick.

Nine Queens is great, but I feel it compares more favorably to the David Mamet classics "House of Games" and "The Spanish Prisoner" than "The Sting". Seek these out if you've never seen them.

I was just recommended this title by a friend. I think I'll rent it from Netflix if my local video store doesn't have it.

Rented this one from netflix - good little con movie with a twist ending I didn't see coming. Definitely worth a rent.

Same place I got it and I would sum it up exactly the same way... never saw it coming either...
