I was wondering how good the show is as well, I enjoyed last nights episode, but how is it overall and is the movie is as bad as I've heard.

I bought this box shortly after I posted (and when it was released) ... very awesome... an exceptional show (probably the best "making of" ever) some truly excellent extras, and of course, the finished feature film (which is just OK, but still worth having as a companion to the show)... anyone who has ever liked Project Greenlight should most definately pick this up....

The set is definitely top-notch. Make sure you check out the "Best Chris Moore Impression" contest. I missed this on HBO, and watched the 12 episodes over 2 nights.

Yeah, "The Chris Moore Challenge" is worth the price of the set alone!

My girlfriend got this for me for Christmas last year and I watched the whole series on Christmas day. I couln't tear myself away. I can't wait to get the season 2 DVD box set this year since I don't have HBO.

If you like the show, you'll love the extras. You get to see the top ten filmmaker's videos (some are actually quite awful), and bio videos, plus various other footage that appeared on the website but not on the show. The final product, Stolen Summer, has a decent commentary track as well.
