Mississippi Burning Review?

Another of the decent sub-$10 movies that has yet to get a review. I really like the movie when I saw in theaters forever ago, but was wondering about the transfer, extras, etc. Anybody?

i bought the MGM version when it streeted but havent opened it yet.
i believe it is the exact sme transfer as the older HBO(?) version in the snapper case- right down to the commentary.
if thats the case, on a 53" set i noticed some minor compression artifacting, grain, etc.
all in all not a bad looking/sounding disc.
about a B to B-.
i've seen much worse discs for some movies of similar high quality

i have no reason to believe MGMs disc is any better or worse.
