Total recall special edition runtime
Hi,
Can someone please tell me what the total runtime for Total Recall Special Edition DVD is?
Mine says 113 minutes (1:56 hours). However, Amazon.com says the special edition DVD should be 124 minutes.
I just got a special edition of this movie from a trade. However, the cover looks totally different from the special edition DVD pictured on Amazon.

Thanks a lot for the reply. However, the special edition I have has the ORIGINAL regular edition picture on the keepcase, with the words "special edition" printed on top.
This DVD's cover looks decidedly different from the special edition cover on amazon (not the tin can one).
What's up with this?

"...Mine says 113 minutes (1:56 hours)..."
...ahh... let's see now... 1:56 hours (...huh ? since when are hours decimal units ?)... I assume that what you meant to say was 1h56mn (one hour fifty-six minutes)... but, but, but... that adds up to 116 minutes !
...so now we have 113 minutes, 124 minutes, and 116 minutes...
...but which is which ?
...and, more importantly, which is right ?
...it's a puzzlement !...
(...shuffles out of the room, scratching his head...)

Sorry about the confusion.
I fastforwarded through the entire movie, the actual playtime is about 2 hours and 9 minutes. But the display still says 1 hours 53 minutes. Weird.
And can anyone give me an answer about the DVD cover question?

The disc you have includes all of the SE supplements, right?

This particular special edition has all the inserts, and all the right extras on the disc. But it is definitely an older pressing, because I acquired this from a trade.
I just don't get it, what's up with this cover of my DVD case? Can it be a bootleg?

If you got the movie in a regular case and not the Mars tin, the image on the cover insert is almost identical to the previous version DVD cover (like this but with Special Edition across the top in a silver bar: When they did away with the tin can, they have a cardboard slip cover over the regular case with this image on it:
They may have just thrown away or forgot to give you the cardboard sleeve.
