It's pretty simple, I want both David Blaine: Fearless and Radiohead: Meeting People is Easy, but can afford only one (coming off a CH order, and neither seems to be available there). I'm a pretty big Radiohead fan, and also a fan of sleight-of-hand magic. I've heard good and bad things about both, the radiohead doc doesn't have much live concert footage, David Blaine doesn't have all the specials it's just a "best of", etc.

I haven't seen the radiohead documentary at all, I've seen David Blaine's Street Magic special, but not the other two. The Radiohead doc is $2-$4 more expensive then DB, and has a slightly shorter runtime.

So, assuming you have any idea of which two DVD's I'm talking about, which would you get first?

David Blane's card tricks are lame, but that levitation thing is really cool. I wish I could figure it out. I guess it really is magic!

I can't speak for the Blane DVD, but if you like Radiohead at all then MPIE is a must-have, if only for Follow Me Around, one of my favorite songs of theirs and still unreleased on any album. Also their reaction when the record exec says "We really appreciate your music" is priceless. Shows you just how easy it is for them to meet people!

I got the Blaine DVD and it has his first 3 shows on it. It also has extra footage in the special features section. If you like magic, its definately worth buying it. It does have rewatchability and I would recommed it.

David Blaine is probably my favorite DVD. Definately get it.

And the David Blaine fans come out in force, including one of the mods. =)

Oy, well so far I'm back where I started. I think I might just flip a coin...

Well, as any true budding dvd-obsessive would do, I ended up buying both. I found a really good price on the radiohead dvd, good enough to make it affordable to get both. For the record, I got the Radiohead dvd first, followed ten minutes later by the David Blaine dvd.

I think I saw a the David Blaine DVD for about $15. At that price it's a steal. I'm not really thrilled with DVDs put out by musicians so far. But I'm not familiar with the Radiohead DVD you want to buy.

$15 seems a little expensive, that's US $$$ right? It is $17.99 in Canada, about $12US

Blaine disc was pretty cool... I missed his first 2 shows when they first were on tv.

Do a search for Blaine and levitation on the net. It's an old trick and suprisingly simple concept!
