Review of Seven Percent Solution DVD, Anyone?
Does anyone have or has anyone seen the DVD version of "The Seven Percent Solution?
If so, whats the quality of the transfer and the audio?

It's an older DVD release from Image...and it's not the greatest. It is P/S and since it was shot with a lot of diffusion there is definitely grain and some artifacting on the DVD - but not enough to make you throw up...it's just far from perfect (I have a feeling this was just a port from the laserdisc - hence the poorer quality) Sound is always clear and audible mono - that's all that can be said for this dialog. I bought it and while it's definitely not a stellar presentation - it's not bad enough to wreck the film. That's all I can say. If you are a fan of the film it'll do. I really don't know if Universal will ever remaster this film...but I guess we can hope.
