Buffy Season I - anyone having layer switch problems?

If anyone can play all the episodes without their player freezing up, please tell me what player you have - and I will rush right out and buy it! I can't get to the end of the episode where the teacher turns into the Preying Mantis, nor the 2nd episode of the third disc "dreams." Help!!!

Plays fine on my Toshiba 2008.

I doubt it's a layer switch problem. I didn't notice any changeovers during any of the episodes. The shows are short enought that it's likely there was no need to put a switch in during the episodes themselves.

Sounds like it could be defective discs or a player problem.

What player are you using? If someone else has the same player, then they might be able to tell you about their experiences.

No problems on Sony DAV S300.

And I'll repeat that it sounds like a defective disc to me.

I have watched 2 of the 3 dvd's, and have encountered no problems at all so far...I do not anticipate any problems on the third.
