Widescreen Vs. Full Screen in family films

Since I got my Widescreen Television I have bought alot more dvds. The other night as I was getting a movie in the family area at Best Buy. I have notice that alot of family films are now going to Full Screen. I think and feel that a family film should have the same look as all other films. The movie that I want to get is Disney's Snow Dog. I was shocked that this film that had great scenes was going to be in full screen. So my topic I feel that needs to be talked about is. Should a family film like snow dog should be treated with a widescreen? :-)

This is already been talked about. Call Disney and tell them how you feel. Here is the thread: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=198932
