I love the set, but I hate The Dream Master for one simple reason.

Great Set. I love it and every once in a while I'll bust it out and have myself a Freddy Film Festival.

I'm still waiting on this set from fredvds.com ( I ordered it a month ago) Freddy scared the crap out of me as a kid, I'm anxious to get this set.

Well looks like you decided for yourself.

Was just another poster suggesting to pick it up. The presentation, and design is top notch. I have all the movies on vhs, but wanted to pick them up, in the better quality dvd.

Funny how different some tastes are, I personally think Part 2 is one of the best, and see somebody else hates it.

I would say it's worth it for parts 1,2,3 and the bonus disc.
The rest are just so-so, and the last one, is prob the worst horro movie I've seen, and seen lots of them. It was like going to dentist, trying to get through that thing. Think it took like 6 different sesions before I got through the whole thing.. because I kept having to stop it out of boredom.

Opinions, and Critics also welcome.
Thanks.
The problem is that, in my opinion you have seen the BEST two films. Actually, the only two good ones. And you were still on the fence.

I see you've already grabbed it, but I would have HIGHLY recommend that you rent some of the others before plopping down major scratch on the box. I'll be really curious to hear your thoughts on the films. I find a couple of them (2 and 6) to be basically unwatchable. And 4,5,7 ain't so hot either. But different strokes...

I see that this thread is actually pretty ancient. Did you ever post reviews?

I have watched them all quite a few times already. This box set is worth every penny!! I only hated the New Nightmare sequel. I just couldn't get into it.
