I'm new here so i'm not sure if this is where I should be posting, but here goes. I just got the special edition dvd and wanted to check out the features except, I can't find them. All I have in my "special features" section is audio commentary. I feel kinda stupid, but what am I missing here? Where are the extras?

Thanks in advance.

Flip the disc over. Side One: Movie, Side Two: Special Features

So is it worth replacing the old version with the Singer/McQuarrie commentary? And is it the same commentary or a new one?

Picked this up last night and watched most of the special features. The documentaries are pretty good and actually give some interesting info instead of just summarizing the movie the way a lot of dvds seem to do.

Question: If you have watched the docs on this disk, what did you think of Stephen Baldwin? He came off as a real ass and there was that little bit of trash talking between him and Kevin Pollack. A friend and I couldn't figure out if he was really an ass or if it was an act he was putting on for some reason.

They both (Baldwin and Pollack) came off as asses to me...

Excellent docs though, quite enjoyed em'...

The Escapist - Yes. New anamorphic transfer, new 5.1 DD track, nice set of extras... Not sure about the commentary, I haven't listened to it yet, but I seem to remember reading that it was the same one that was on the last disc...

In the interview Outtakes on the easter Eggs, there is an interesting comment from Bryan Singer where he mentions how reluctant he was about participating in the new disc for fear that they were putting out too many versions of the film on disc. The best part is when he and the interviewer go off on Universal's decision to cut up the documentry on the Jaws disc. Pretty funny stuff

Did anyone notice the MAJOR, MAJOR spoiler when accessing the chapter stops.

Spoiler:
It shows the detective looking on the floor at the bottom of the smashed coffee mug.

I did not notice this, but of course I've seen it 10 times and thus don't personally care. That aside, this SE is great! The picture and sound are fantastic, and it's awesome to have some quality extras on this excellent flick.
