I quite liked it, despite not particularly being a fan of anime.

Pretty interesting anime even though it does not contain:

- the future
- demons
- big eyes
- robots
- ninjas
- big-eyed robot ninja demons from the future

I dunno about the DVD but I would recommend the film to adventurous fans of thrillers and Hitchcockian movies.

I love anime, and Perfect Blue is a great piece of work. The non-anamorphic widescreen picture on the R1 DVD looks good, I don't recall any problems with the audio tracks, and the interviews are the high points of the extras.
