Can anyone recommend some films on DVD that feature great European swordfighting/fencing in them? My impression has always been that it doesn't come off too well on film for some reason, but I haven't exactly searched hard for such movies. The only one in my mind that was truly memorable was Rob Roy and even then that was more of a "From Russia With Love" situation. ie, the acting plus the build-up or concept of the scenes made them interesting, not necessarily the choreography.
