all depends.

The dvd is substandered, not much for extras, but if you're a fan of the movie it's a must.

If you've never seen it and you're under 25, walk away.

This movie requires a fondness for cheesy 70s sci-fi. It was dated the moment it came out, and has really not aged well in the years since, but is an amusing artifact of its era.

The only 2 things I can remember about this movie are Jenny Agutter's juggs.

I don't think the flick is that bad. Sure it's a little dated, but it's still interesting. Almost a BladeRunner-lite, if I may make such a comparison without being tarred and feathered.

The DVD has a making of featurette and a commentary (that I haven't listened to yet)

If you can get it cheap, it's worth a shot if you like this type of Scifi, I think I got mine for $10 at Borders.

Keep in mind that I think Escape and Conquest are the best of the original Planet of the Apes movies also

While it is cheesy, the actors all give it their all, which resuces it from itself.

The movie and latter series was a big deal in the mid 70's....very popular.

oh, and for some of you younger ones out there who think to yourself...Why was Star Wars so popular,...

Logan's Run was released a year before Star Wars.

Oh God! (whiping the tears from my eyes) Thank you for that Strutz. I actually laughed out loud at your comment. Forget "Logan's Run". "Jenny's Juggs" is more appropriate. As you so graphically pointed out. Heh.

BTW, I agree with the one person. This movie was cheese central when it first came out. How in the world could it have aged well? I too picked it up at Best Buy for like $7.99. The transfer is pretty bad too. This is one movie that needs a decent remake. Not like "Rollerball" or "Planet of the Apes" though.
