Review wanted: Dirty Dancing CE
It is on sale for $8.99 in Circuit City this week and the regular price is $12.99 only .
Is this a bad quality dvd ? why is it so cheap ?

I think the dvd's quality was pretty good, it was the 2nd version of this title released. I think it just didn't sell well, as a local target also has it for right around 10 buck too.

I am not a fan of the movie but my wife got it and we both sat down and watched it the other night. I was very impressed with everything except the film itself. The video looked great and the use of sound was outstanding. The music and sound made the movie really jump and it just seemed to have more energy.
The extras are pretty standard. Videos of the main songs (Hungary Eyes, Time of My Life), some small making of stuff and a commentary which I'm sure I'll never watch so can't comment on.
I'd give the movie a D.
I'd give the DVD a solid B+ as it is a MAJOR improvement from watching it on TV.
