From everything I've read about this DVD, it's one I want to purchase. However, I'd like to get input from anyone on here who has watched it.

Well, this is not exactly the "help" I was looking for, but since it's the only post on here...

I trust some reviews, yes, but I usually like to hear from more people, including just regular Joes. That's why I posted here, and I think that's part of the reason this "DVD Reviews" forum exists.

So one final time: Has anyone viewed this DVD and have any thoughts on it to share?

Haven't seen the Criterion DVD, but I love the film. If you've seen other Bergman films and enjoyed them, definitely check it out. It's a very introspective film, a character's reflection on his entire life, pleasant memories and painful memories, what he didn't do and what he should have done with his life...

Thanks---I got a $10 Amazon GC so I just ordered this. I DO like other Bergman films, and Criterion has yet to disappoint me yet. Will post again after watching it---
